Summary View

The Summary View displays cumulative data for all memories including the average time spent per memory, average daily use, average time streaming, average battery life, user volume, etc. and is the default view when the Data Log is accessed. This view initially shows data for all memories combined but individual memories can be viewed by selecting a specific memory button. If less than 1 hour of data has been logged, either "N/A", "< 1", "0", "?", or "Unknown" displays depending on the hearing aid connected. An overview of the patient's data log including battery life, average input level (dB SPL), directional usage, percent of time spent per sound class, etc. can be printed and filed for reference.

Inspire automatically compares the information in the data log against the current settings of the hearing aid. Based on the objective data contained in the data log, Inspire may provide a set of recommendations per memory in an effort to improve the performance of the specific hearing aid. Some recommendations can be applied to the hearing aid and some suggest counseling the patient on usage, feedback prevention, etc. Data Log can also be used to demonstrate the usage and benefit of amplification to the patient and third party and troubleshoot issues during follow-up visits. The data log can be reset at any time. In addition, this feature can be enabled/disabled in select products.
  1. Connect and select the desired hearing aid(s) to view via Get Started.
  2. Click on the Read Device Settings or Load a Previous Session radio button and then click Start.

  3. Click Data Log.
  4. Click Summary View Summary View if not currently displayed.
Note:  For Xino Classic, Zōn, and Destiny products, the data headings and functionality described below may be different or not available.
    * If the data was reset, the previously read data remains on the screen so that it can be saved with the current fitting session
    Data Heading Description
Data Log: On/Off Enables/disables data log. If On is selected, which is the default, patient data will be collected. If fitting binaurally but viewing monaurally, the setting selected is automatically assigned to the opposite ear side because the state of this feature must match between devices. If Off is selected, the data log is automatically reset. If disabled and Clear Settings and Reset Device, Initial Fit, or any Best Fit option is selected, Data Log is automatically enabled.
Data Log Dates Hearing aid's date range of the data log. If viewing a live retrieved fitting session, the date range from the saved session displays and a "Retrieved" watermark appears across the screen. If simulating, the start date is 60 days prior to the end date and a "Simulated" watermark appears across the screen.
Average Time Spent per Memory Donut pie chart or bar graph showing the percent of time spent per memory and ear side. Click on a memory name or a section of the pie to extract that memory's slice of the pie and highlight the selected memory in bold.
Average Daily Use (hours) Average hours used per day for all memories combined per ear side.
Average Battery Life (hours for full Data Log) Average battery life based on the total number of batteries used. Displays for all products except Evolv AI, Livio Edge AI, Livio AI, Livio, Muse iQ Rechargeable, Halo iQ, Halo 2, and Halo.
Average Battery Life (hours for last 4 batteries) Average battery life based on the last 4 batteries used. Displays for all products except Evolv AI, Livio Edge AI, Livio AI, Livio, Muse iQ Rechargeable, Halo iQ, Halo 2, and Halo.
Average Time Streaming (hours) Average hours spent audio streaming for all memories combined per ear side. Only displays if fitting or simulating wireless Picasso, Muse iQ, SoundLens Synergy iQ, Muse, or SoundLens Synergy (SurfLink Media or SurfLink Mobile must be enabled via Accessories), or Evolv AI, Livio Edge AI, Livio AI, Livio, Halo iQ, Halo 2, or Halo products.
Falls Detected* A checkmark indicates a fall was detected and the alert was not canceled, and an ellipsis indicates no falls were detected. To erase this data only, click Reset. Only displays if fitting or simulating Evolv AI, Livio Edge AI, and Livio AI products.
Manual Alerts Sent* A checkmark indicates a manual alert was triggered via the user control and the alert was not canceled, and an ellipsis indicates no manual alerts were sent. To erase this data only, click Reset. Only displays if fitting or simulating Evolv AI, Livio Edge AI, and Livio AI products.
Input Level Distribution (SPL) Bar graph or pie chart showing the percent of time spent between <40 or 50 and >80 or 90 dB SPL and the average input level per memory and overall per ear side.
User Volume Slider or dial image showing the modifications (average) from the programmed user setting, and the volume gain range per memory and overall per ear side. Only displays if the patient can adjust the hearing aid's volume via the physical user control (e.g., rocker switch, push button, etc.), T², Ear to Ear, or a StarLink/Starkey/TruLink/SurfLink accessory. If no time was spent in a specific memory, the average user setting ( or ) will not display for that memory.
Tinnitus Level Slider image showing the modifications (average) from the programmed user level, and the tinnitus output range per memory and overall per ear side. Only displays if the hearing aid supports tinnitus and Tinnitus Level, T², or Ear to Ear is enabled via User Controls and Tinnitus is enabled for at least one memory via Tinnitus. The number of steps, programmed user level, and output range are based on how the hearing aid is configured for tinnitus via User Controls. If no time was spent in a specific memory, the average user level () will not display for that memory.
Recommendations Shows or hides all global recommendations and the recommendations for all or a specific memory, and applies all or specific recommendations to the hearing aid(s). Displays for all products except CROS/BiCROS, Evolv AI, Livio Edge AI, Livio AI, Livio, Halo iQ, Halo 2, and Halo.
  5. Inspire automatically defaults to a binaural Select Binaural view if applicable. To view only the right or left hearing aid, click Select Right Only or Select Right Only, or Select Left Only or Select Left Only.
Note:  If fitting CROS/BiCROS devices, only data for the receiver aid displays. Binaural data is available for all products except Xino Classic, Zōn, and Destiny.
  6. Inspire automatically defaults to displaying data for all or memories combined. To view data for a specific memory, click on the desired memory  or .
