LifeScape Analyzer View

The LifeScape Analyzer view displays the percent of time the hearing aid's features were engaged in each environment, the average amount of gain adaptation that occurred per channel while each environment was active, and the percent of time the hearing aid was in each directional setting. This view shows data for individual memories. If less than 1 hour of data has been logged, either "N/A" or "0" displays depending on the hearing aid connected. An overview of the patient's data log including battery life, average input level (dB SPL), directional usage, percent of time spent per sound class, etc. can be printed and filed for reference. LifeScape Analyzer is available for all products except Xino Classic, Zōn, and Destiny.

Inspire automatically compares the information in the data log against the current settings of the hearing aid. Based on the objective data contained in the data log, Inspire may provide a set of recommendations per memory in an effort to improve the performance of the specific hearing aid. Some recommendations can be applied to the hearing aid and some suggest counseling the patient on usage, feedback prevention, etc. Data Log can also be used to demonstrate the usage and benefit of amplification to the patient and third party and troubleshoot issues during follow-up visits. The data log can be reset at any time. In addition, this feature can be enabled/disabled in select products.
  1. Connect and select the desired hearing aid(s) to view via Get Started.
  2. Click on the Read Device Settings or Load a Previous Session radio button and then click Start.

  3. Click Data Log.
  4. Click LifeScape Analyzer LifeScape Analyzer.
    Data Heading Description
Data Log: On/Off Enables/disables data log. If On is selected, which is the default, patient data will be collected. If fitting binaurally but viewing monaurally, the setting selected is automatically assigned to the opposite ear side because the state of this feature must match between devices. If Off is selected, the data log is automatically reset. If disabled and Clear Settings and Reset Device, Initial Fit, or any Best Fit option is selected, Data Log is automatically enabled.
Data Log Dates Hearing aid's date range of the data log. If viewing a live retrieved fitting session, the date range from the saved session displays and a "Retrieved" watermark appears across the screen. If simulating, the start date is 60 days prior to the end date and a "Simulated" watermark appears across the screen.
Time Spent per Sound Class Donut pie chart showing the percent of time each adaptive feature was engaged per memory for each ear side. Click on a sound class name or a section of the pie to extract that sound class's slice of the pie and highlight the selected sound class in bold. For products that don't support Speech, the sound class "No Adaptation" displays.
Time in Wind Total percent of time all adaptive features spent in Wind per memory for each ear side. Only displays if fitting or simulating Evolv AI, Livio Edge AI, Livio AI, Livio, Picasso, Halo iQ, Muse iQ, SoundLens Synergy iQ, Halo 2, Muse, or SoundLens Synergy products.
Directionality Percent of time spent in each directional setting per memory for each ear side. Only displays if the hearing aid supports a directional system.
Average Gain Adaptation - (Sound Class Name) Average amount of gain adaptation that occurred per channel while the environment was active. Not available for Music, Speech, or No Adaptation. Click on the sound class name and a pop-up list displays. Click on the sound class to view. The amount of gain adaptation that occurred displays in a tool tip by pointing to the channel bar.
Recommendations Shows or hides all global recommendations and the recommendations for the selected memory, and applies all or specific recommendations to the hearing aid(s). Displays for all products except CROS/BiCROS, Evolv AI, Livio Edge AI, Livio AI, Livio, Halo iQ, Halo 2, and Halo.
  5. Inspire automatically defaults to a binaural Select Binaural view if applicable. To view only the right or left hearing aid, click Select Right Only or Select Left Only.
Note:  If fitting CROS/BiCROS devices, only data for the receiver aid displays.
  6. To view data for a specific memory, click on the desired memory .
