If a firmware update is available, it's highly recommended you update
the hearing aid(s) to ensure optimal performance. If the firmware is not

If binaural hearing aids contain different firmware versions that are
incompatible, the hearing aids cannot be fit until the hearing aid with
the lower firmware version is updated. In addition, if a firmware update
was started but was not fully completed, the hearing aid cannot be fit
until the update is completed successfully. If the update was originally
started on the same PC, the update can be continued. If the update was
originally started on a different PC, the update cannot be continued and
should be contacted for assistance.
