The hearing aid's microphone can be muted at any time during a live fitting if you wish to make multiple adjustments without the patient hearing the changes. The microphone can then be unmuted at any time to demonstrate any adjustments, play an audio file, etc. If Automatically Mute Devices When Detected is selected via General Preferences, the microphone is automatically muted when the device is connected and a live fitting is selected.
