Swap Fit

Swap Fit transfers settings from a fitting session to a hearing aid that may differ by product family, tier, style, or feature set. The response of the hearing aid from the fitting session is used as the “target” for the response of the destination hearing aid. All other settings (memories, feature settings, fitting formula, etc.) are transferred if there is a one-to-one match between hearing aids. Otherwise the destination hearing aid will be set to default settings. Feedback Canceller and Self Check initializations are not transferred, therefore, it is recommended you run these once Swap Fit is complete. Swap Fit can also be used to transfer a previous hearing aid session programmed with older firmware to the same aid with newer firmware.

This feature is available on all products except Classic, VŌZ and Rhapsody. However, Classic, VŌZ and Rhapsody products can be source hearing aids but not destination hearing aids.

1. Connect and select the desired destination hearing aid(s) via Get Started.

2. Click on the New Session or Load a Previous Session radio button and then click .

3. Click Tools from the Menu Bar.

4. Click Swap Fit.

   Note:  This feature is only available in a live fitting and for all products except Classic, VŌZ and Rhapsody. Swap Fit is disabled if this feature is not available in the connected hearing aid(s).

   Tip:  Swap Fit will also launch automatically if you attempt to Load a Previous Session into a hearing aid that does not match the chosen fitting session.

5. Click on the session to transfer.

   Note:  Only sessions that are different from the connected hearing aid(s) displays.

6. Click Continue.

   Tip:  Click OK if this screen was launched from Load a Previous Session.

   Tip:  Click Cancel to cancel selecting a session.

7. Click Continue to begin Swap Fit.

   Tip:  Click Back at any time to go back to a previous screen or click Cancel at any time to cancel Swap Fit.

8. Select the receiver matrix, connector, tube size, and vent size, if applicable.

   Note:  The current session matrix and acoustic properties display.

9. Click Continue.

   Note:  It's important to remove the hearing aid(s) from the patient's ear(s) prior to data transfer.

10. Click Begin Transfer.

    Note:  Do not disconnect the hearing aid(s) from the computer during data transfer.

11. Click Go to QuickFit once the transfer is complete.
