Speech in Noise View
Clicking on Speech in Noise in the navigational
bar will display the Speech in Noise view. This view is only available
for Xino Classic,
Zōn, and Destiny
products.
Information displayed in this view includes:
- Average Daily Usage (hours per day)
- Average Input Level (dB SPL)
- Current Setting (Off, Slight, Moderate, or Maximum)
- Pie chart displaying percentage of time this
memory classified each type of input in the Noise Control. The currently
selected view (Speech in Noise) will be colored while the other input
types will be gray. Moving your mouse over a section of the pie will
produce a tool tip with the input type and percentage of time detected
while in the current memory.
- Bar graphs showing the average amount of gain
adaptation that occurred per channel when the currently selected input
(Speech in Noise) was detected. In addition, the data log will display
the percentage of time the hearing aid would have been in a certain
condition. For example: if the current setting is Off,
the hearing aid is still tracking the Noise Control to know if Speech
in Noise would have engaged, were it available. This data is displayed
in the data log and evaluated when Inspire makes recommendations.
