Swap Fit

Swap Fit transfers settings from a fitting session to a hearing aid that may differ by product family, tier, style, or feature set. The response of the hearing aid from the fitting session is used as the “target” for the response of the destination hearing aid. All other settings (memories, feature settings, etc.) are transferred if there is a one-to-one match between hearing aids. Otherwise, the destination hearing aid will be set to default settings. Feedback Canceller, Real Ear Measurement, and Self Check initializations are not transferred, therefore; it is recommended you run these once Swap Fit is complete. If REM Target Match data already existed in the destination hearing aid, Swap Fit clears it. Swap Fit can also be used to transfer a previous hearing aid session programmed with older firmware to the same aid with newer firmware.

If swap fitting CROS/BiCROS products, a hearing aid fitting session can only be transferred to a receiver aid, a receiver session can be transferred to a hearing aid or a receiver aid if it's being paired with a transmitter, and a transmitter session can only be transferred to a transmitter (900 MHz only). If a receiver session is transferred to a hearing aid, all compatible user controls are transferred but CROS/BiCROS settings are not. If swap fitting a 900 MHz CROS/BiCROS fitting session to 2.4 GHz CROS/BiCROS devices, only the compatible user controls for the receiver aid are transferred. If swap fitting to a 2.4 GHz CROS/BiCROS receiver aid, the Power-On Delay is automatically set to Short if a different setting was selected previously.

This feature is available on all products except Xino Classic, Zōn, and Destiny. However, Xino Classic, Zōn, and Destiny products can be source hearing aids but not destination hearing aids.
