Order Information

Order Information summarizes and completes the order by detailing the hearing aid(s) and options selected via Hearing Aid Selection and Hearing Aid Options, adds, edits, or removes items, and prints the form for processing. Orders can be saved for later editing and/or processing.

Hearing aid(s) and options must be added to the cart first before accessing this screen. The Order Information screen is launched automatically once items are added to the cart. An ear side icon and product name displays for each item and details regarding the selected product displays in the Detail section. The quantity for BTE, OTE, and RIC products can be changed. Wireless accessories are listed in the Special Instructions section.

Default billing and shipping account numbers, service and shipping type, etc. can be identified via Shipping Information Preferences. It's highly recommended that you identify these defaults to save time in completing the order.

The patient's most recent audiogram displays if available. Audiogram data can only be added or edited via NOAH or ProHear. In addition, the patient's SRT, MCL, and UCL data displays if available. This data can be added or edited via this screen.

  1. Add the hearing aid(s) and options to the cart via H/A Options.

    Note:  The Order Information screen is launched automatically once items are added to the cart.
  2. Click Order Information from the Left Navigation Menu.

    Note:  Hearing aid(s) and options must be added to the cart first before accessing this screen. If no items have been added to the cart, a message to add the selected items displays. Click Add to add the selected items and access Order Information, click Discard to clear the selected items and access Order Information, or click Cancel to cancel accessing Order Information and remain on the current screen.
  3. Select the desired order information to change from the drop down list or enter the information.

    Tip:  Press the Tab key to move from field to field.

    Bill to Account #* Selects or enters the bill to account number. 20 Alphanumeric
    If a bill to account # was identified via Shipping Information Preferences, it automatically defaults.
    Ship to Account #* Selects or enters the ship to account number. 20 Alphanumeric
    If a ship to account # was identified via Shipping Information Preferences, it automatically defaults.
    Contact Selects or enters the professional's or employee's name. 80 Alphanumeric
    If a contact was identified via Shipping Information Preferences, it automatically defaults.
    P.O. # Purchase Order Number, if applicable. 35 Alphanumeric
    If a P.O. # was identified via Shipping Information Preferences, it automatically defaults.
    Service Selects the service type. The service type selected via Shipping Information Preferences automatically defaults. The types available are Standard, 1 day/Rush, and Same Day/VIP shipment. Extra shipping charges will apply for non-standard shipments.
    Shipping Selects the shipping type. The shipping type selected via Shipping Information Preferences automatically defaults. The types available are First Class Mail, Overnight Air, Courier, and Other.
    Language Booklet Selects the language for the patient's instruction manual. The language selected via Shipping Information Preferences automatically defaults. The languages available are Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish.
    Special Instructions Identifies any additional information needed for order completion. 200 Alphanumeric
    If wireless accessories were ordered, they're listed here. SurfLink Mobile cannot be selected via Hearing Aid Options, therefore, if this device is desired, a notation should be added. To start a new line, press and hold Ctrl and then press Enter.
  4. To add new products to the order, click Add New.

    Note: The H/A Selection screen displays. Once the new products are selected, click Add to Cart and the Order Information screen redisplays with the additional items listed.
  5. To edit a product, click on the product to edit and click Edit.

    Note: The H/A Selection screen displays. If the product selected was part of a binaural set, both ear sides will be edited. To edit the options, click H/A Options from the Left Navigation Menu or click Order Options via H/A Selection. Once a hearing aid change is made, a message to either modify the item or add a new item displays. Click OK to save the change to the item, click Cancel to cancel the change and remain on the current screen, or click Add New to add the item as a new product. If Add New is selected, the product originally selected to edit remains unchanged and a new item is added to the order. Once the products are edited, click Back to Cart and the Order Information screen redisplays with the items updated or additional items listed.
  6. To delete a product, click on the product to delete and click Remove. A dialog box appears asking you to confirm the deletion.

    Tip:  To remove all items from the order, click Clear Cart and a dialog box appears asking you to confirm the deletion. Click Yes to remove all items or click No to cancel the deletion.
  7. Click Yes.

    Note:  If the product selected was part of a binaural set, only the ear side selected was removed.
     
    Tip:  Click No to cancel the deletion.
  8. Click Print to print the order form for processing.

    Note:  If the bill to account # and/or ship to account # is missing, a message displays. Click OK. Enter the missing account #(s) and click Print.
     
    Tip:  Click File or Inspire (if NOAH 3 is installed) from the Menu Bar and click Print or click Print Preview to preview the report before printing.
  9. Click Walk In on the Inspire Toolbar to save the order if desired.

    Tip: Click File or Inspire (if NOAH 3 is installed) from the Menu Bar and click Save to save the order.
     
    Note:  If Prompt for Session Description is selected via General Preferences, the Save Order screen displays. Enter a description if desired and click Save or click Cancel to cancel saving the order.
