Hearing Aid Options

Hearing Aid Options selects and orders options such as color, vent, warranty, and wireless accessories for the hearing aid(s) selected via Hearing Aid Selection. The circuit, user control, and memory information selected along with the default options (e.g., color, vent, warranty, etc.) displays in the basket per ear side. The default options can be changed and additional options (e.g., wireless accessories, wax protection, etc.) can be selected. Based on the circuit and style selected determines the options available. Any additions or changes, with the exception of wireless accessories, are automatically reflected in the basket.

The warranty that automatically defaults for most hearing aids can be selected via Shipping Information Preferences. However, some hearing aids only provide specific warranty options, therefore, the default warranty selected may not be available for a particular circuit. As a result, the warranty will default to the option closest to the default warranty selected. For example, if the default warranty selected via Shipping Information Preferences is 2 years but hearing aid selected via Hearing Aid Selection only offers 3-5 years, the default warranty will be 3 years.

The hearing aid circuit and style must be selected first via Hearing Aid Selection before accessing this screen. The Hearing Aid Options screen automatically defaults to a binaural view, therefore, if two different circuits and/or styles were selected, Right ear adjustment, Binaural adjustment, or Left ear adjustment icons display in the options drop down lists or to the left of the checkboxes to indicate if the particular option applies to the right, left, or both ear sides.

  1. Select the hearing aid(s) circuit, style, etc. to order via H/A Selection.

  2. Click H/A Options from the Left Navigation Menu.

Tip:  Click Order Options via H/A Selection to access.
  3. Inspire automatically defaults to a binaural Select Binaural view if applicable. To order options for only the right or left hearing aid, click Select Right Only or Select Left Only.

  4. Select the desired option to add or change from the drop down list or click the checkbox to the left of the option to select or unselect.

Note:  Some options are only available for select circuits and styles.
