Updates Preferences indicates if Inspire should automatically check for updates to the software and uninstalls the updater software.
Click Preferences from the Menu Bar.
Click Updates.
Enter or edit update settings.
| Field Name | Description | Details |
| Allow Inspire Updater to keep Inspire up to date | Denotes whether or not Inspire should automatically search for any applicable updates to the software and prompt to install them. | If selected, Check for Updates will be enabled via the Help menu. By default, Inspire will search for updates automatically. |
| Uninstall Inspire Updater (Button) | Removes Inspire Updater software from the computer. | If selected, Check for Updates will be disabled via the Help menu and Inspire will no longer search for updates automatically. |
Click OK to save the settings for this session and return to the currently displayed screen.
| Tip: Click Cancel to discard the changes and return to the currently displayed screen. |
| Tip: Click Apply to save the settings for this session but remain in the Preferences menu. |
| Tip: Click Restore to Inspire Defaults to revert the aforementioned Inspire defaults back to their original default settings. |
