The Preferences Menu customizes Inspire for specific modules including Fitting, Select Products, Media Player, Reports, and Counseling Tools. For example, identifying the defaults when reading and fitting hearing aids, specifying which circuits, styles, and accessories display when counseling patients, selecting shipping preferences, etc. These settings identify how Inspire will operate with respect to fittings, orders, audio files, Inspire updates, reports, counseling, wireless hearing aids, and SoundPoint. General - Identifies the hearing aid product catalog, language, default fitting selections, lock code, etc.
Target - Identifies default target levels, volume control, fitting formulas, best fit, etc.
Communications - Indicates if the fitting toast should display automatically when a hearing aid is connected and read, and if usage data should be tracked
Shipping Information - Identifies the default billing and shipping account numbers, shipping and service type, warranty, etc. for Order Information
Audio File Management - Creates and maintains audio categories and files for Media Player
Updates - Indicates if Inspire should automatically check for updates to the software and uninstalls the updater software
Reports - Identifies the default header for all reports and the tips that should print on Patient Adjustment Report
Counseling - Identifies the wireless and wired circuits, styles, and accessories to display for Lifestyle Solutions
Wireless - Identifies the wireless hearing aid serial numbers that should be ignored when SurfLink Programmer detects devices and selects the wireless radio frequency profile
SoundPoint - Indicates if the device's response curves should update in real-time as SoundPoint is being utilized by the patient
