Fitting programs the patient's hearing aid(s) using a variety of features including Spectral iQ, SoundPoint, Speech Mapping, and Noise Control to precisely fit the devices based on the patient's lifestyle and desires. Click on any option below for more information.
Audiometer - Obtains threshold and uncomfortable levels in dB HL by generating pure tone signals through the patient's hearing aid(s) to assist in more accurately programming the device(s) during the initial fit
QuickFit - Makes simple and quick adjustments to the patient's hearing aid(s) and accesses SoundPoint, Self Learning, User Control Configuration, Experience Level, PureWave Feedback Eliminator, and Self Check
Fine Tuning - Makes discrete, frequency-specific adjustments to band, channel, maximum output, and user volume
Compression - Adjusts threshold kneepoints per memory for all channels simultaneously while automatically adjusting the compression ratio or makes discrete, frequency-specific adjustments to threshold kneepoints and compression ratio per memory and channel
Spectral iQ - Translates inaudible, high frequency, speech information to a lower frequency region so it's audible
Noise Control - Prioritizes speech in noise by making discrete adjustments per memory to Voice iQ²/Voice iQ/Noise, AudioScapes, and InVision Directionality, and enhances sound quality and reduces listening effort by automatically adjusting synced wireless hearing aids to facilitate the best signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and comfort in any listening situation
Speech Mapping - Verifies good speech audibility and comfort
Memories - Selects environments that will modify the frequency shaping and/or compression characteristics of the hearing aid within that memory
Wireless - Configures patient controls, syncs binaural wireless hearing aids to communicate with each other, and selects and configures accessories to adjust volume, memory, etc. using a remote control or stream audio from a mobile phone, MP3 player, computer, television, DVD player, etc. directly to wireless hearing aids
Indicators - Sets and adjusts the signals that inform the patient of a low battery, memory change, volume increase/decrease, etc., selects the language for speech indicators, and enables/disables any desired indicators
Expert Assistant - Assists with solving patient issues based on the actual wording a patient might use
Verify Comfort - Verifies the current frequency response of the hearing aid for loud and soft inputs is satisfactory for the patient
Fitting Summary - Provides a quick visual overview of the hearing aid’s memory environments, Spectral iQ settings, user control settings, indicator status, wireless settings, etc. in one location
