Experience Manager
Experience Manager is an option accessed from the 
or
screens. Experience Manager is designed to provide an offset to the target
gain provided by a fitting formula. There are 3 experience levels. Level 1 is for an inexperienced
user of hearing aids providing the greatest degree of gain offset. Level 2 is for a patient who is
familiar with hearing aids providing a slightly less offset. Level
3 is for the experienced hearing aid user and is equal to the targets
prescribed by the fitting formula selected.
The Experience Manager requires a minimum of four thresholds (500, 1000,
2000, and 4000 Hz) to determine the amount of offset that will be applied
to the frequency response. If any of those specific frequencies have not
been entered in the Noah or the ProHear database, a message will appear
requesting that information.
