Points on the graphical response curves which are adjustable are indicated by a black oval, called a grab handle. Whenever a grab handle is selected, a shaded region will appear indicating the adjustment range for that particular control or controls.
Drag the grab handle to the desired position and release; the response of the hearing instrument will snap to the closest possible settings.
Once you have selected a grab handle, the range of potential adjustments will be shown by a shaded region around the grab handle. The corresponding slider bar will also have an orange box around it, indicating that it is the currently selected point or points.
To adjust more than one point on the graph at a time, several options exist:
To adjust adjacent points together, hold down the shift key and click on the grab handles to be adjusted. Then, release the shift key and drag one of the highlighted points; all highlighted points will move together. Click anywhere on the graph to release the grab handles from their highlighted state and make a different adjustment.
To adjust non-adjacent points together, hold down the Ctrl key and click on the grab handles to be adjusted. Then, release the Ctrl key and drag one of the highlighted points; all highlighted points will move together. Click anywhere on the graph to release the grab handles from their highlighted state and make a different adjustment.
To adjust the entire curve, click on the response curve directly to highlight all grab handles on the curve, and drag the curve up or down. Click anywhere on the graph to release the grab handles from their highlighted state and make a different adjustment.
