User Volume

User Volume displays the average user volume change by sound class per memory, overall user volume, time spent per sound class, current environmental adaptation setting, and dB adjustment. If the patient can adjust the hearing aid's volume, this data is collected. This feature is available on all products except Advance 22, Advance 21, and Advance 20.

Inspire automatically compares the information in the data log against the current settings of the hearing aid. Based on the objective data contained in the data log, Inspire may provide a set of recommendations per memory in an effort to improve the performance of the specific hearing aid. Some recommendations can be applied to the hearing aid and some suggest counseling the patient on usage, feedback prevention, etc. Data Log can also be used to demonstrate the usage and benefit of amplification to the patient and third party, and troubleshoot issues during follow-up visits. The data log can be reset at any time.

  1. Connect and select the desired hearing aid(s) to view via Get Started.

  2. Click Quick Connect or Session Connect.

  3. Click Data Log from the Left Navigation Menu.

Time Spent per Sound Cass Percent of time spent per sound class for each ear side. Some products don't support Speech in Noise, therefore, data for this class is averaged with Noise and displayed under this class.
